princess + pony birthday party

A princess + pony theme birthday party fit for a five year old!

Two weekends ago, we celebrated our niece, Marabee's, 5th birthday. Combining her two favorite things at the moment, princesses + ponies, her party was every five year old girl's dream come true! Held at the Traditional Equitation School in Burbank, it was a sweltering hot Saturday, but that didn't stop the niece + friends from enjoying the day.

Our older sister, of course, thought of super adorable details surrounding this theme. Horseshoe shaped cookies, pony cake pops, prize ribbons, and the most amazing cake! Carrots and apples were arranged in cute paper baskets waiting for kids to feed its contents to the horses.

Every child attending got the chance to ride a "pony' (horse) around the track accompanied by a trainer. While waiting for their turn, they could either feed the other ponies waiting in their stalls or decorate horseshoe cookies / bedazzle horseshoes.

Marabee had a grand 'ole time and we can't wait to see what she requests for her 6th birthday :)
